Last year 3,000 Capital Area cyclists pedaled to and from work during Bike
to Work Week. This year let's make that number even bigger! Free tune-ups,
group rides, discounts, door prizes, and events are scheduled throughout the
Triangle to make it easier than ever for you to get in gear!
Wake County cyclists are invited to join in the fun on Friday, May 8th for
the Bike to Work Week Kick-Off Event in the courtyard of Marbles Kids Museum
from 3:30 - 7:30 p.m. Roly Poly and Coca-Cola Bottling Co. are providing the
food, and area cycling companies are coming together for free maintenance.
An adult ride and kids rodeo will also take place, with free helmets and
fittings available for children. More events are planned throughout Wake
County during the week.
RTP cyclists can participate in an After-Work Get Together on May 13th at
Serena from 5 - 7 p.m., and breakfast on May 15th from 7 - 9 a.m. at the RTP
