Moore Square Redesign Contest is open and accepting registrations

CALLING ALL GREEN DESIGNERS: Let's make our stamp on an important, visable part of downtown Raleigh!!

The Moore Square Design Competition is now open to all planning, design, preservation, and engineering professionals, and college students who majored in these fields. The design competition application and background information are located at www.raleighnc.gov/greatplacesmooresquare .

Entry fees: $100 for professionals and $50 for students

Awards: First place-$6,000; second place-$4,000; third place $2,000.

September 14 Question and inquiries due

September 29 Submissions due

October 5-6 Jury deliberations

October 24 Winners awarded at Raleigh Wide Open
