The
Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce has developed its very first sustainability
award as part of the prestigious Pinnacle Awards. If your company is working to
become a more sustainable business, please consider applying for the award.
Award submissions are due no later than February 27th.
Please consider applying to help raise awareness of all the great companies in
the Triangle that are working to reduce their environmental impact, creating a
positive impact on the community or for employees, and are finding success in
business.

Hillsborough Street Renaissance: Green Vendors Wanted
HILLSBOROUGH STREET RENAISSANCE
Hillsborough Street Renaissance Festival will be an environmentally conscious arts & music festival showcasing innovative green technologies and community organizations. It will be held on Hillsborough Street on March 14, 2009 from 12pm to 10pm.

There are two options to become a vendor at the Hillsborough Street Renaissance.
Hillsborough Street Renaissance Announcement and Call For Volunteers
The event, known as the Hillsborough Street Renaissance, is a green arts and music festival that will occur on Saturday, March 14th from noon-10pm between the cross streets of Gardner and Enterprise. The festival will showcase the construction slated to occur on the street and will feature an eco-friendly fashion show, an alternative fuel vehicle showcase, an organic iron chef competition, vendors and live, local music. The event will benefit local charities including: Engineers Without Borders, MorLove and Soles4Souls.
